Oscar 2010 si alte cinews

• Ieri, la ora 5 dimineata ;)))) – ora locala-, au fost comunicate nominalizarile pentru premiile Oscar 2010. Usor diferite fata de cele de la Golden Globe, nominalizarile au cateva surprize placute (pentru mine cel putin). In primul rand, mi s-a parut o mare reparare morala faptul ca UP a fost nominalizat la cel mai bun film si cel mai bun scenariu original. N-o sa le ia, dar – probabil – asta inseamna un moment de recunoastere a maturizarii filmului de animatie si de trecere peste prapastia (imaginara) care despartea filmul de animatie (din 1992, de la Beauty and the Beast, nu s-a mai intamplat o astfel de nominalizare). Oricum pe Oscarul 2010 pentru animatie scrie UP ;)))

AVATAR numara – iarasi – 9 nominalizari si sper, de data asta, sa se limiteze numai la cele tehnice si sa le lase pe cele pt film si regizor unor pelicule care sa si merite Oscarurile.

La actori (principali, secundari) nominalizarile sunt cam la fel ca la Globuri. La principali au aparut Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) -a disparut Tobey Maguire – si Meryl Streep (Julie & Julia) in locul lui Emily Blunt ;)) Intrucat Oscarurile nu fac distincatia drama/comedie – ca la Globuri – in general comasarea se face in detrimentul comediilor. Cred ca lupta se va da intre Jeff Bridges (castigator de Glob) si Morgan Freeman (aflat la a 5-a nominalizare), respectiv Sandra Bullock si Meryl Streep (ambele au luat Globuri nominalizate fiind la categorii diferite).

La secundari cred ca se va pastra alegerea Globurilor: Christoph Waltz in “Inglourious Basterds” si Mo’Nique in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”.

Lupta dintre fostii soti: James Cameron, respectiv Kathryn Bigelow continua si la Oscaruri ;)). Daca James Cameron a luat Globul, Kathryn Bigelow si-a adjudecat mai multe premii ale criticilor, precum si premiul oferit de Directors Guild of America ;)) In plus, “The Hurt Locker” are tot 9 nominalizari ;))) Pana la anuntarea Oscarurilor, cei doi se vor infrunta la Premiile BAFTA pe 21 februarie. O sa va tin la curent.

• Tot ieri a debutat al 6-lea sezon din LOST. Ultimul. Au fost difuzate 2 episoade, iar protestele fanilor, la auzul intentiei retelei de televiziune de a decala inceperea showlui datorita unui discurs al lui Obama, au fost atat de puternice incat acesta si-a amanat ora aparitiei TV ;)))

Festivalul International de Film de la Berlin, aflat, in 2010, la cea de-a 60-a editie, va avea loc in perioada 11 – 21 februarie. 26 de filme din 18 tari vor rula in sectiunea principala din acest an, 20 dintre acestea concurand pentru Ursul de Aur si Ursul de Argint.

Werner Herzog este presedintele juriului din acest an, compus din sapte cineasti, printre care se numara actrita Renee Zellweger.

Romania este reprezentata la Berlin de patru filme: doua lungmetraje – „Eu cand vreau sa fluier, fluier” de Florin Serban si „Portretul luptatorului la tinerete” de Constantin Popescu si doua scurtmetraje – „Derby” de Paul Negoescu si „Colivia” de Adrian Sitaru. De asemenea, noul proiect al lui Florin Serban, „El Rumano”, este prezentat tot la Berlinala, in programul Rotterdam-Berlinale Express.

Printre filmele cele mai asteptate de specialisti se numara ” The Ghost Writer ” de Roman Polanski, cu Pierce Brosnan si Ewan McGregor, „Shutter Island” de Martin Scorsese, cu Leonardo DiCaprio, „Howl” de Rob Epstein, cu James Franco, si „The Killer Inside Me” de Michael Winterbottom, cu Casey Affleck si Jessica Alba.

  2. o sustin in continuare pe Sandra Bullock, nu pe Meryl Streep despre care eu cred ca a facut roluri mai bune decat acesta de-acum. nu stiu care va fi cel mai bun film, nu as merge pe Blind Side pentru ca bate moneda pe visul american, dar nici Avatar care mie, una, nu mi-a placut prea mult. pot sa spun ca nu mi-a placut? frumosi, albastri, dar… hm…
    spun Jeff Bridges desi Morgan Freeman e ajutat de film, de culoarea presedintelui si noile tendinte…
    si da, astept si eu Shutter Island… e pe lista… dar acum citesc.
    ca tot iti povesteam despre „orice cal ajunge gloaba” (cum vezi sar la ale mele intr-un egocentrism declarat pe fata) am trecut de la axl roses si sebastian bach la altii… care nu s-au globit chiar asa … si ma documentez in continuare… deci, se poate si fara formol…😉

    • @irina: UP il poti vedea si-acasa, dar – evident – orice film bun merita vazut la cinema ;)) da ca ai timp. Merita sa vezi BLIND SIDE, PRECIOUS, dar mai ales cauta sa vezi filmul nemtesc The White Ribbon/ PANGLICA ALBA – Das weisse Band, de departe cel mai bun film al anului, pacat ca e in germana si nu concureaza decat la film strain ( a luat si premiul cel mare la Cannes, dar si Globul de Aur) si am de gand sa va povestesc despre el separat pentru ca merita ;)) Din filmele nenominalizate, dar extrem de interesante iti mai recomand The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus si inca nelansatul Alice in Wonderland al lui Tim Burton, care se anunta a fi un adevarat festin vizual – in 3 D ;))

      @ Si eu tot pe Sandra o sustin ;)) Din filmele nominalizate – inca nu am apucat sa vad An Education, dar sper sa il vad azi-maine – eu as vota cu Precious sau District 9. Morgan nu m-a dat pe spate, dar pe Jeff inca nu l-am vazut, dar inclin spre el – macar pentru faptul ca deja a luat o caruta de premii pentru rolul asta. Astept si eu Shutter, mai ales ca tocmai am citit cartea ;)) La chestia cu gloaba m-ai pierdut ;))))))

  3. Tocmai am vazut „An Education”. High Class! Rafinat, emotionant, n-am cuvintele la mine acum, ca am febra, dar filmul merita vazut si pastrat. Nu stiu insa ce sanse are fata asta grozava la Oscar, langa celelalte staruri mult mai „agresive” emotional sau vizual, dar… mai stii?
